This page is a dedication to James Cameron's movie "Titanic", and to all who were on board RMS Titanic. It is an unbelievable spectacle of the unfortunate catastrophy omboard RMS Titanic on 14th of April 1912. 1523 people drowned and only 700 were saved.
But the movie is not only a document about the accident, but also a beautiful love story of 2 young hearts. The characters in the movie are fictional, but everything else has been based on truth, to the smallest details. The movie makers even built a life-size copy of RMS Titanic just for the movie, which makes it very realistic.
The real RMS Titanic is still laying on the bottom of the sea, in water over 3 kilometers deep. It took scientists decades to even locate it after the tragedy. This has made the legend of the ship so mysterious and memorable. And it still enchants people all over the world, as you can determine by the tremendous success of the movie.
