LETTER FROM A
TITANIC SURVIVOR

(This letter is sole property of Mr. Harry Love, PLEASE don't copy it)

Titanic Historian Harry Love, who I am honored to call a friend of mine, has given me permission to use a letter he received from Titanic survivor Marjorie Newell Robb. Thank you for letting me use it Harry :)

The letter itself is kind of hard to read, so there is a translation of it. However, not all the words can be recognized. These words are marked with XXX.

My dear Harry:-

For sake, I would wish I could
answer your questions, but I am
unable to do so, partly because so
many years have past (passed) since
my tragic experience and partly
because I was the second boat to
leave the sinking Titanic and as
we XXXXXX as quickly as possible to
escape the sinking boat. I XXXXX
as I could only see the lights on
the ship so I cannot give you a
detail experience.

Had it not been for my father
who so promptly notified us to
leave as quickly as possible, I
could not be here XXXXX you this
note. What I read in the Yankee
Magazine is very exciting, but
very XXXXX. I never went to see
the movies or read the books for I
do not believe the people who gave
the interview knew really what took
place for they were not really at
the Titanic disaster.

Cordially,
Marjorie N. Robb
